Hello there
Some time ago Gary Vee told people that yes, he looked like a beast while juggling 7 or whatever projects at once, but he did not start them all at the same time.
The last year has been a lot of fun for me in terms of trying out a lot of different projects. Now I've reached a stage where I would like to see more significant results in the projects I am working on.
Recently I noticed I would be subconsciously weighed down by the many projects I started, yet not actually be making much progress on them. The biggest example would be the 1000 paintings ( I made 4 paintings last year; that's not a lot).
So for January I decided it was time to focus on fewer projects to make more progress on them. This month I focused on making more significant progress with my prototype app and updating my website.
In terms of my prototype app, I am happy to report some more progress. I have been able to add a few features this month. The one feature I would like to share is a button that let's me start a new quest. This is designed as a daily quest that essentially calls for me to do a reflective journaling exercise every day. It seems silly but this has actually helped me maintain a healthy streak of consecutive journaling days.
In terms of the website, this month I worked on having it reflect all aspects of me. This includes the analytical and creative projects I am working on and want to work on in future. Also I made the designs of the various pages more consistent with each other. Honestly I'm very surprised that I completed the update in one month. I wasn't expecting to post this video again so soon:
That video shows what the website looked like before the update this month. Overall I'm very happy that I managed to complete the update in one month. I have not made a mobile version of the update yet, so for now I turned off the mobile-friendly option for the website. Also I have not tested the website yet for usability across many screen resolutions and monitor sizes. At the moment I feel like I've had enough of updating my website, and will probably work on the mobile version and user friendliness across many resolutions and screen sizes in a later month.
